Hardscape Warranty
We provide a warranty on all our hardscape flat-work (patios, sidewalks, driveways, etc.). We know that with any flat-work installed, maintenance will have to be performed due to Chicago winters.
Our In House Crews
We employ our own hardscape, softscape (planting), gardening, drainage and turf restoration crews. Few companies provide all these services under one roof which allows us to deliver a superior product.
Your Own Designer
John Fitzgerald from JKF Landscape Design is our dedicated designer. The Rooney/Fitzgerald relationship has been in place since 2000. John listens and works with your ideas, so you get exactly what you want. He is on-site, which ensures your vision is executed through the Rooney crew.
No Upselling
When we give you you a proposal, it’s all inclusive based on what YOU asked for. The only changes we’ll make to a project will come from the customer.
Our Subcontractors
Rooney will manage all facets of your landscape job, including the communication with our hand-picked group of subcontractors.
Job Specialization
We have crews that specialize in their specific discipline, giving you the peace of mind that the crew who comes to your home are experts in the project they’re completing.
No Installation Short Cuts
We compact our base every 2 inches (approx. 3-4 times.) and extends 6 inches beyond the edge of surface. This ensures the plastic restraint is installed in the same base, not anchored to the grass.
Detailed Cutting
We do mitre cuts. Uniformity and consistent patterns are crucial to the aesthetics of your hardscape feature.
