Our approach to landscape maintenance differs from our competitors. Our crews are not grass cutters, they’re gardners. People hire us to take care of their landscape, not their lawn.
All Maintenance Packages Include:
SPRING CLEAN-UP
- Remove all debris in turf areas, planting beds, tree rings, curbs, streets, and culverts.
- Inspect all turf areas matted down by debris or snow to discourage turf disease and rake as needed.
- Spade edge and cultivate all planting beds, and tree rings to define planting bed lines and turf areas.
- Apply a pre-emergent herbicide to all planting beds and tree rings.
- Apply a granular fertilizer to all shrubs, perennials and ground cover.
- Cut all turf areas as needed, and in addition, cut back all appropriate perennials as needed.
FALL CLEAN-UP
- The first Fall Clean-Up appearance will begin in October depending on the leaf fall. The total number of appearances is subject to weather conditions.
- All turf areas will be mowed to remove leaves from turf during the first two Fall Clean-Up appearances.
- Upon completion of leaf drop, final clean up will be scheduled and will include removal of leaves from plant beds, and all turf areas. In addition, all appropriate perennial plants will be cut back
- Leaf pile pickup may require a separate appearance by our vacuum truck from the curbside.
- If inclement weather prevents us from completing Fall Clean-Up, we will perform our services when the weather permits or leaves will be removed during the Spring Clean Up of the following season.
GARDENING SERVICE APPEARANCES (The Rooney Difference)
- Ensures our design comes to fruition.
- Hand pruning of shrubs, spade edging of beds in season, dead heading perennials, cultivation and/or hand weeding of beds, and debris removal.
- These crews are specifically dispatched on non mowing days to complete the above mentioned tasks.
WEEKLY MOWING APPEARANCE
- Only included with the above services.
